Pillar Technology, a business consultancy and software development company, is expanding its Ann Arbor workforce and moving into a 10,000-square-foot new office on Liberty Street in downtown An Arbor.
Financial Impact:
Pillar Technologies plans to invest nearly $2 million over three years.
Employment Impact:
In 2014, Pillar Technology hired 30 people (mostly software developers), expanding its staff to 60 employees and two interns with plans to add at least a dozen more employees.
Ann Arbor SPARK assisted Pillar Technology in securing a $350,000 grant award from the Michigan Business Development Program through the Michigan Economic Development Corp. as well as $25,000 Phase 4 Funding from the City of Ann Arbor’s Local Development Finance Authority fund to assist with build-out costs at its new facility.
