Ann Arbor SPARK, with the generous support of MEDC, is thrilled to present the Livingston Regional Manufacturing Day for high school students in Howell, Pinckney, Brighton, Fowlerville, Hartland, and Whitmore Lake. Joining more than 650 other events across the country, MFG DAY is an annual celebration of modern manufacturing during which manufacturers invite their communities to their facilities in a collective effort to educate visitors about manufacturing career opportunities and improve public perceptions of manufacturing.
For the first time, the Livingston area will host its own event with more than 10 participating companies, including Mott Community College who is hosting multiple companies in addition to showcasing its classes and training opportunities.
High school students will board buses at participating schools and then visit three area companies. Students interested in participating should request permission slips from their school counselor or speak to their tech career teachers for more information.
