The Jackson Area Manufacturers Association (JAMA) manages a host of youth educational programs developed to provide manufacturing/engineering career exploration and hands-on learning opportunities to kids from kindergarten through high school. Programs offered through JAMA include Engineering is Elementary (K-5th grade), I Can Make It Camp (4th-6th grade), Machining U (7th-9th grade), Underwater ROV Camp (7th-9th grade), Manufacturing 101 Boot Camp (9th-12th grade), MI Enterprise (9th-12th grade), Skills Gap Solution (11th-12th grade), and Girl M-Powered (K-5th grade and 9th-12th grade). These youth programs are delivered in partnership with the Jackson County ISD and work in tandem with other partner programs to deliver a complete K-12 Educational Pipeline focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) literacy.
