Howell-based Chem-Trend, a global leader in the development and production of high-performance release agents, purging compounds, and other molding products, was awarded a $250,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant by MEDC. The company is planning on investing $7.7 million to expand its R&D facility at its Howell headquarters. Chem-Trend is creating 25 professional, scientific, and technical service jobs with this acquired grant.
